The Athletic Collaboration between the University of California, Riverside, and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México celebrated the inaugural student-athlete exchange from the UCR’s Men’s Soccer Team, that took place from the 23rd to the 30th of June 2023 in Mexico City.

Alianza MX hosted the UC Irvine DREAM Center’s Building Binational Bridges at Casa de California in Mexico City.
The University of California, through Alianza MX, will host a presentation of the Final Report of the 2022 Forum on Education and Migration: “The Future of the US-Mexico Human Capital, Opportunities for a bilateral agenda on education and migration”. The report contains a series of Policy Recommendations by experts on critical questions regarding how to improve the integration of students of Mexican-origin into the US education system, including through effective migration policies; how to integrate US-origin students to the Mexican education system, and through educational policies; and the opportunities that a binational human capital would represent for our countries in the next decade.
On September 7 and 8, 2022 UC Alianza MX hosted the first light-duty vehicle conference under the US-MX Electrification of Transport Taskforce.
2024Within the framework of theAthletics Collaborationbetween the University ofCalifornia Riverside andUniversidad NacionalAutónoma de México (UNAM),the second student-athleteexchange was celebrated fromthe UNAM Women’s SoccerTeam, taking place from the2nd to the 10th of August,2024 in Riverside, California.

The California-Mexico 2030 Summit is organized around the transition to a sustainable and climate-resilient binational economy. The Summit follows the recent celebration of the bicentennial in diplomatic relations between the United States and Mexico, providing an opportunity to reflect on the current state of the binational relationship and to identify key strategic areas for collaboration to address the most relevant shared challenges in this decade.
