UC MEXUS-CONACYT doctoral fellowships provide up to five years of funding for Mexican students doing their doctoral study at any one of the ten UC campuses. Fellows may pursue doctoral studies in most academic disciplines, except the arts. Doctoral Fellows are supported by CONACYT for Year 1 through Year 3 of their studies, by UC MEXUS for Year 4, and by their host campus for Year 5.

To be considered for this fellowship, students must meet the following criteria:

Students must apply for admission to UC programs of study and be at least provisionally admitted.

Students must apply for a doctoral fellowship directly with CONACYT, including submission of a letter of acceptance to a UC program.
