Interested in applying for a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship?

Eligibility

The program seeks applicants with terminal degrees whose work is directly relevant to US-Mexico research collaboration. Individuals are not eligible to apply if they have 5+ years of postdoctoral research experience or hold a faculty position of associate professor or above.

Conditions

The postdoctoral fellowship supports a two-year, full-time in-person residency at a UC campus. Alianza MX will provide funds to cover the fellow’s salary for 12 months at Level 0. The UC host will be responsible for all additional salary and benefits as well as adjustments to compensation during the residency.

Applicants are responsible for securing all appropriate approvals and signatures prior to the submission of their application.

Postdoctoral Research Fellows: 2025 Cohort

Alianza MX launched a pilot project for Postdoctoral Research Fellowships in Fall 2024 to support young scholars across the UC system through two-year postdoctoral research fellowships beginning in September 2025.
