María Cristina is a Master in International Relations and Pacific Studies from UC San Diego. As of May 2022, she is Director for Sustainability and Sempra Infrastructure Foundation. Her experience in the energy sector in Mexico spans almost 25 years. She is part of Voz Experta, an initiative that seeks to provide visibility to women experts in the energy sector, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Mexican Network of UC Alumni
