Aldo has a Ph.D. in Political Science from UCLA. He is currently visiting professor at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs. He served as Undersecretary of Energy for Hydrocarbons in the Secretariat of Energy of Mexico (2016-18). He has taught courses in international political economy, comparative politics, economic theory, public policy, and economic development at the Claremont Graduate University School of Politics and Economics in California.
Climate Ambassadors is a UC Alianza MX initiative to build a network of students of the University of California and Mexican institutions and connect them with career opportunities within the new climate economy and society.
