Interested in submitting a Small Grants proposal?

Eligibility

PIs may submit only one unique proposal to fund activities that are not included in any other project with funding support from Alianza MX. These activities can include presentations of research at a conference or workshop in Mexico or hosting a Mexico-related event at their UC campus.

Funding

Each proposal submission can request up to $5,000 USD in funding for activities scheduled to take place during a six-month period (see below). Funds can support a range of travel and event hosting costs but may not be used at Casa de California in Mexico City.

Application

Alianza MX opens two calls for proposals each year, one in the Fall to support activities in Spring/Summer and the other in the Spring to support activities in Fall/Winter. Funding awards are generally announced within one month of the close of each call.
