Proposals must be connected to one of the strateic issues listed above. All projects must include two principal investigators (PIs) from the UC system and two PIs from UABC. Please contact Alianza MX for assistance with identifying potential collaborators.


UC researchers can request up to $25,000 USD in total funding for research activities per year over two years. Additional funding support is available for travel to binational workshops. Funds may not be used to cover overhead or indirect costs.

Proposal submissions must be saved as a single .pdf file that includes all required components outlined in the call and must be submitted via Google Form before the application deadline (December 8 at 11:59 PT).
